Welcome to my Shrine dedicated to Tony Amonte!!!
The following pages were created as a tribute to my favorite NHL player, Mr. Tony Amonte.
I hope they demonstrate why I feel Tony is such a great hockey player. Tony is a wonderful
person on the ice, as well as off the ice; therefore, this shrine is a series of thoughts
about what makes Tony such a special person. I hope everyone enjoys this page as much as I
enjoyed creating it!!!

Top Ten Tidbits about TONY!!:
Tony played on the same high
school hockey team as his former Chicago Blackhawk teammate, Jeremy Roenick.
Tony attended Thayer Academy.
Tony eats pasta and chicken on
game days and drinks plenty of water and sports drinks to keep his system
hydrated.
Tony has two sisters, who are also athletes.
His sister, Kim, excelled in field hockey, while his sister, Kelly, plays
for the U.S.A.'s Women's Lacrosse Team.
Tony has a large family.
Tony's favorite candy is tootsie
rolls. He always grabs a handful upon entering the United Center before
games.
Tony, along with other Chicago teammates, can
often be seen at Captain Chris Chelios's bar, Cheli's, down the street
from the United Center after the games.
Tony was the first player to score a hat trick at the
United Center.
Tony was seventeen years old when
he was drafted into the NHL by the New York Rangers.
